Our Family

We just took our family photo for our Christmas card. Becky Woodfield took our photo, she is very gifted! We are very fortunate to have her in our lives, she is such a blessing, as well as a very talented photographer!

Our family loves Christmas time, the kids get so excited seeing the christmas lights and decorations, it's contagious. But the most important thing about Christmas is, this is such a wonderful opportunity for Bill and I to teach the kids about our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He IS the reason for all that we do during Christmas and we want the children to understand and appreciate this gift of grace from God. Our hope is that they will truly understand what Christmas is all about and that they will honor God with their lives and bring Him glory. So Merry Christmas to all and may you truly understand the gift that was given when Christ was born.

Thanksgiving

The York grandchildren Thanksgiving photo. We started a new tradition in our home. We had an open house in the evening, after the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We played games and visited with family. We also ate too many desserts! Once all of the grandchildren were up from naps, we also had a chance to get a photo of the York clan, which half are ours. Thanks everyone for the wonderful holiday. We are truly thankful to God for all He has blessed us with!
